News Farewell to Dr Kadjassi
After 13 years with URBIS FOUNDATION TOGO, Dr. Bâ-Traoré Kadjassi, who was responsible for the health sector, retired. Over the years, we have greatly expanded this sector. It all started with a request from a small health station that wanted to provide medicines for the less fortunate. Now, we support 16 rural stations annually with medicines and supplies. We also started a local hypertension and diabetes campaign, which Dr. Kadjassi co-founded. To our project leader Cornelia Dix, he said that he would have never guessed how many people live with these diseases unknowingly. Thanks to URBIS FOUNDATION, they can now be detected and treated at an early stage. As a tribute to his work, he received a blood pressure monitor from us as a farewell gift. We thank him for his many years of engagement.
Farouko Mama, who is already in charge of the social sector, took over responsibility for the health sector.
